Dear Leslie, I am a descendnat of Agrippa Atkinson through his son Arthur,
then through his son, Newton Sr. and through his son, Newton Jr.

"The History of Jack County, Texas" states:
"Atkinson, Newton
Among the early settlers of Jack County was the Newton Atkinson family.
Newton was a son of Arthur Atkinson, who was a son off Agrippa Atkinson. We
first find Agrippa in Hancock County, Georgia where Arthur was born about
1798. Other children born to them were Alford, Asa, Jasper, Julian, Mary
Caroline, Harriett, Elizabeth and Mourning. The family moved to Bibb County,
Alabam, where Arthur married Corotha Calloway Gardner on 21 December 1820.
Dorotha, called Dolly, was born in North Carolina in 1804 to John D. Gardner
and wife Margaret."

Does this help? If I had an address, I would copy the pages and send to you.

May I hear from you? Any information you can share, I will appreciate!
Shirley
