I am posting my ATKINSON quest in hopes of connecting to someone working
the same line.

FIRST GENERATION

1. Thomas ATKINSON was born about 1690 in Isle of Wight, Isle of Wight Co, VA.

He was married to Susan Sarah HUGHES about 1710. Thomas ATKINSON and Susan
Sarah HUGHES had the following children:

+2 i. Samuel ATKINSON Sr (born about 1730).



SECOND GENERATION

2. Samuel ATKINSON Sr (Thomas-1) was born about 1730. He died in 1785 in
Southampton Co VA.

He was married to Martha UNKNOWN before 1730. Samuel ATKINSON Sr and
Martha UNKNOWN had the following children:

+3 i. Samuel ATKINSON Jr (born about 1730).
4 ii. Isham ATKINSON was born about 1732.
5 iii. Jesse ATKINSON was born about 1735.



THIRD GENERATION

3. Samuel ATKINSON Jr (Samuel-2, Thomas-1) was born about 1730 in
Southampton Co VA. He died in 1797 in Robeson Co NC. He served in the
military in Rev War.

He was married to Sarah WASHINGTON (daughter of Capt. John WASHINGTON and
Tama HICKMAN) in 1781 in NC. Sarah WASHINGTON was born about 1761 in
Hertford Co, NC. She died on February 15, 1831 in Clarke Co, GA. She has
reference number 207. Samuel ATKINSON Jr and Sarah WASHINGTON had the
following children:

+6 i. Jerusha ATKINSON (born on March 4, 1792).
+7 ii. Samuel Washington ATKINSON (born on March 5, 1797).
+8 iii. Martha ATKINSON (born about 1795).
9 iv. Jane (poss) ATKINSON.
10 v. Unknown (poss) ATKINSON.



FOURTH GENERATION

6. Jerusha ATKINSON (Samuel-3, Samuel-2, Thomas-1) was born on March 4,
1792 in Robeson Co NC. She was born on March 6, 1792 in Robeson Co
NC. She died about September 18, 1856 in Columbus, Lowdnes Co, MS.

She was married to James H. HOBBS (son of Robert L HOBBS and Mary Marion
CORWELL/CORNWELL) on September 27, 1810 in Greene Co, GA. James H. HOBBS
was born on March 21, 1783 in Greene Co GA/SC. He died on March 17, 1838
in Columbus, Lowdnes Co, MS. Jerusha ATKINSON and James H. HOBBS had the
following children:

7. Samuel Washington ATKINSON (Samuel-3, Samuel-2, Thomas-1) was born on
March 5, 1797 in Robeson Co NC. He died on July 27, 1872 in Florence,
Williamson Co, TX. He died on July 28, 1872 in Williamson or Caldwell Co TX.

He was married to Nancy JORDAN (daughter of Thomas JORDAN and Priscilla
APPLEWHITE) on October 22, 1818 in Franklin, Morgan Co, GA. He was married
to Nancy JORDAN on October 28, 1818. Samuel Washington ATKINSON and Nancy
JORDAN had the following children:

24 i. Albert Washington ATKINSON was born on July 20,
1819 in Franklin Co GA. He died on July 26, 1819 in Franklin Co GA. He
was Died in Infancy.
+25 ii. Jane Catherine ATKINSON (born on December 28, 1820).
+26 iii. Amanda Caroline ATKINSON (born 21/26 Feb 1822).
27 iv. Henry Thomas ATKINSON was born on February 12,
1824 in Franklin Co GA. He died on May 29, 1845 in Pontotoc Co, MS.
+28 v. Mary Ann Eliza ATKINSON (born on September 26, 1828).
+29 vi. John Wesley ATKINSON (born on September 10, 1829).
30 vii. Washington Applewhite ATKINSON was born on
February 22, 1834 in Franklin Co GA. He died on October 18, 1841 in MS.

8. Martha ATKINSON (Samuel-3, Samuel-2, Thomas-1) was born about 1795 in
Robeson Co NC. She died in 1849 in AL.

She was married to Unknown BARFIELD. Martha ATKINSON and Unknown BARFIELD
had the following children:
