I searched my New England Database for your Jane ATWOOD, but
did not find a good match.

One possibility was Jane ATWOOD, aka Polly ATWOOD, daughter of
Isaac and Elizabeth (Dodge) Atwood. She was reportedly born in
Warwick, Ma between 1790 and 1800. I have no further information
on her; and therefore put it out for discussion.

Many of Isaac and Elizabeth ATWOOD's children headed West; and
its certainly conceivable that Jane might have gone with them.

Seba, ended up in Fon du Lac, Wisconsin; Prudence married John Dwinell
and lived in Argo, Illinois; Betsey married Asa Faye.. no further
information; Isaac Jr married Betsey Farr and settled in Vermont; and
Learned (Larned) married Hannah Howland also settled in Vermont; Royal,
Jane, Daniel, Caroline, Melinda, and Lucy have no further information.

If anyone knows what happened to Isaac and Elizabeth ATWOOD's
children, please respond.....

Any other clues to your Jane's identity ? Children's names,
birthplaces, wills, land records, Censuses ?
