Hi Gang,
I went to "Plympton's Old Burying Place" today, which is located next the
Plympton green. Found one Atwood buried there. Isaac Atwood in Row 3 Plot
9 Stone 1, I could not read the stone it is so old but my friend the
Superintendent has the inscription in his records which reads "Here lyes ye
body of Isaac Atwood who departed this life Feb. ye 26th, 1717 in ye 23rd
year of his age. The typewritten copy of the Atwood genealogy I have that
my great Uncle Fred (Frederick Ruel Atwood son of Ruel Gardner Atwood and
Louisa Jane (Atwood) Atwood) compiled had the death date as 1718. This
genealogy is quite long (thru 11 American generations and about 70 pages
long). I plan on transcribing this to the computer in a text format as it
is written and will pass it along as a attached text file when completed to
you folks. I expect this will take me some time so please be patient
