Thanks for your family information. I had you aunts and uncles, but not
your father. Are Donald and Marguerite still alive ? Oh... and your
middle name Gardner, its seems to stick around from generation to
generation, what is its significance ?

Hello Brad,

Marguerite and Donald are still alive. As for the name Gardner, I don't
know of any reason for it's continued use. The first use of the name that
I'm aware of was the first name of the second child of Nathaniel & Zilpha
(Shurtleff) Atwood.
I went to Middleboro today and to the Cemetery on the green. It's
location is across from the Congregational Church on Plympton Street (Route
105), just south of the intersection of Route 44 with Route 105. It's a
real old cemetery with alot of real old stones. Found some Atwood,s,
Tilson.s, Savery's, etc. You were right about Ichabod and Hannah being
buried there. My information on their burial spot was wrong.
