I also had information on these lines......

Henry WOOD b ~1619, m 28 Apr 1644 Abigail Jenney
Joseph ATWOOD b 1653, m2 2 Oct 1697 Abigail Paul
Abiel ATWOOD b ~1698, m ~1720 Mary Winslow
Abiel ATWOOD b 2 Jan 1728, m 11 Mar 1755 Hannah Babbitt
He was of Berkley, Ma; removed to Oxford, Ma in 1777, but
returned to Berkley around 1800. He was a Loyalist. All
his children were born in Berkley, and included: Abiel,
Mary, John, Abigail, Joseph, James, Hannah, Nathan, Samuel,
Sally, Tisdale and David. His son Joseph was 'Captain',
owned his own schooner, smelting furnace and tavern. He
drown at sea. His brother (Abiel's younger son) Samuel
was the Revolutionary War Soldier mentioned. Samuel was
captured by the British in 1781; after the war he
settled in Livemore, Maine.

Stephen ATWOOD b ~1616, m 6 Nov 1644 Abigail Dunham of
Eastham, Massachusetts
Daniel ATWOOD b ~1655, m ( )
Daniel ATWOOD b ~ 1684, m ( )
Israel ATWOOD b ~1710, m 1727 Hannah Studley
Daniel ATWOOD b 5 Sep 1744, m 1 Oct 1767 Anna Doane
of Spencer, Massachusetts
Elkanah Atwood b 10 Oct 1775, m 17 Oct 1798 Sally Hall
who settled in Belchertown, Massachusetts

Elkanah and Abiel were therefore 3rd cousins twice
removed. And Elkanah and brothers Samuel and Joseph were
4th cousins, once removed. I wonder if they knew !
