I have no knowledge of Isaac ATWOOD 'Sr' marrying
Hannah Chubbuck 'Sr'. I have Isaac 'Jr' and Hannah
marrying in Abington, Ma on 2 Nov 1770. The 'History
of Bedford, NH' has there marriage date as 21 Apr
1770. The only marriage for Isaac ATWOOD 'Sr' that
I have found was to Lydia Wait. I have no death
record for Lydia Wait ATWOOD. I also have a notation
(but no source) that Isaac ATWOOD 'Sr' was killed
in the French and Indian Wars (~1757).
I'm not familiar with the book you mention.
Who was the author ? Is it available ? Does
it offer references or sources ?
Isaac Atwood 'Jr' and his wife Hannah Chubbuck
removed to Bedford, NH around 1777. Hannah
died there in 1798. Isaac then returned to
Abington, Ma to marry Lydia Whitemarsh in
1799, but they too lived in Bedford, NH.
What more can you tell us about Hannah
Chubbuck ? Birthdate ? Place ? Parentage ?
TIA
