yes! yes! yes!

hmmmmmm... was there life before the internet?

reminds me of the Blockbuster commercial on TV (the "other" internet) of
the pilgrims who watched pumpkins before there were videos to watch...
yeah, stupid, but obviously memorable ... I am always awestruck at the
changes in the world in the past 100 years - with the communications,
travel and all the other related technologies it seems people on the
other side of the world have become "neighbors". The down side is we are
so involved inside our own homes, meeting our neighbors across the
country, or world, and so on, and hardly know the names of the people
whose homes share property lines with ours! Wouldn't trade it though -
today, as I sat at home with my husband, I conversed extensively with all
of my nieces and nephews and my siblings throughout the day...via e-mail.
We had as much of a family Thanksgiving Day as we could, with a
cumulative of thousands and thousands of miles between our various homes.
Could almost smell the turkey ...
