Hi Listers,

With recent mention of research in California I thought I would share
this website.

The listed page will show a map of counties. The yellow ones are part of
this service. Not all have posted their vital records online. I have
been using this for Stanislaus county. Public records (including real
estate transactions, birth, death, marriage, etc.) are searchable, and
with decent detail. You may order a more detailed copy thru a link on
the record shown. I don't know how far back they go. I do know they
cover fairly recent records.

There are quite a few Atwood listings in Stanislaus county.
