I would appreciate any information on the name Attwood.
I have two Samuel Attwoods, who I am trying to trace.
The first Samuel was born 24 Nov 1812, in Nunney, Somerset
England.

I think he married Mary Jane Millgate on 20 Jun 1841
in Bathurst.

They had the following children, 1842 Elizabeth, 1843
Elizabeth, 1845 Samuel, 1851 Phebe, 1851 Phebe, 1860
Arthur. All in Bathurst, Hill End.

Samuel Attwood died in 1860 from a kick from his own
horse. Death registration was in Orange.

His son Samuel born 1845 married Ellen Sloey on 2 Aug
1865 in Orange. His occupation was a Gaoler.

They had the following children, 1866 Rosina, 1868 Fanny,
1871 George William, 1872 Athur, 1875 William, 1878
Herbert, 1881 Ada Amelia, 1883 Norman, 1886 Alfred.
Some were born in Orange and some in Bathurst.

The second Samuel was born 18 Jun 1830, in Nunney, Somerset,
England. His parents were James S. and Sarah Attwood.
He went to Australia and I would like to know where.
Did he join his Uncle and family in Bathurst?

Has anyone got any information on any of the above.
