Esther ATWOOD was born 8 Jun 1795 in Rensselaer County, New York. Daughter of Isaac and Cynthia (Baker) ATWOOD.

The origins of Isaac ATWOOD are unknown.

Esther ATWOOD married 1st on 2 Aug 1817 in Cayuga County, New York, to Parker Cole (son of Job and Mary (Martin) Cole).
Parker Cole was born 2 Jun 1788 in Rhode Island; he died 29 May 1840 in Aurelius, NY.
They had 12 Cole children.

Esther (ATWOOD) Cole married 2nd on 26 Jun 1840, to Gideon Ellis (son of Samuel and Mary (Eldridge) Ellis)
Gideon Ellis was born 21 Jun 1755 in Harwich, Massachusetts; he died 7 Oct 1841
Gideon Ellis was previously married to Zillah Merrill (1788), daughter of Reuben and Abigail ( ) Merrill

Esther (ATWOOD) Cole Ellis died 24 Nov 1864 in Fosterville, NY
