Hi Judy,

This is kind of a mix-match of information. I was sent your query by a friend who is on the Atwood List. (because I research for Soule Kindred)
I've been looking up information here and there hoping to find the answer to your questions. I thought I'd line your line up from Samuel Wood m. to Sophia Sampson Soule back to George Soule the Pilgrim. (definitly a Mayflower Line) >:) MAI is a MF source. The other numbers are Soule Kindred numbers.
(Soule Kindred Archives)
2723 0 Soule, George the Pilgrim c1593 MAI Bucket, Mary

3787 2723 Soule, John c1632 MAI Simmons, Rebecca

605 3787 Soule, Benjamin 1666 MAI Standish, Sarah

607 605 Soule, Benjamin 1704 MAI Whitman, Hannah

612 607 Soule, Benjamin 1731 2551 Bonney, Mehitable

3 612 Soule, Aaron 1769 MAI Sampson, Ruth
6312 3 Soule, Sophia Sampson 1804 RBK Wood, Samuel, 2nd

G.T. Ridlon (VRs) agrees with the marriage date of Samuel and Sophia (Soule) Wood. 31 Dec 1824.

Some of the above information is information I gathered from Ancestry and Family Search. It may be worth something and it may not >:).
Hope some of this is helpful. Not knowing very much about the Atwood family I'm searching a little in the dark.
