Hi Everyone,

I am trying to find out about a branch of my family. It is the Ah Ching
Family from Cairns.

James Ah Ching married Sarah Hadley in 1879 in Cairns or the Tablelands.
They had had seven children :- Cornelia Daisy Harris b. 1881, Evelyn (the
family connection)b.1883, James Ischmael Stanley b. 1885, Ernest Christie
1880, Alexander Edwin 1889, William Frank 1893, and Philip Henry Victor
b 1895.

All I know is the ship that Sarah Hadley arrived on is the Scottish Prince
on the 16th December 1878. She was 25 years of age.

I don't know where they met James and Sarah , where James came into
Queensland or what happened to the children except for Evelyn who married
Gilbert Frank Hussey.

Evelyn Ah Ching and Gilbert Frank Hussey had five children Evelyn Rosalyn
May Hussey b. 1902, Alice Elsie Hussey b1904, Gilbert Hussey b 1907, Francis
Henry Hussey (known as Eric) b 1909, and Emily Edna Hussey b 1912.

Would anyone know of this family or have records or information that I might
access to learn more of these relations.
