Jan, don't think this will necessarily help you but may be of interest. I
believe that my ggg grandfather Patrick MAHER married an Honorah DWYER in
County Clonoulty, Tipperary on 23rd July 1840. Patrick and Honorah
supposedly came to Australia as self-funded emigrants some time prior to
1843. Seems there was likely a lot more than one Honorah DWYER living in
County Clonoulty in 1840 (as there were Patrick MAHER's!!). I know from
experience that Honorah is a very difficult name to research as it has been
recorded as so many variations including Honorah, Honora, Hanorah, Norah,
Nora etc. Good luck with your search. If you happen across any information
which matches my details above I would be most appreciative of same.
Regards, Paul Maher

Hello to everybody.
I am looking for information on Honora Dwyer nee Murphy from Clonoulty,
Tipperary. She is my husband's gg grandmother. There is a Honora Dwyer
who was tried at Cork in July 1840. That is all the info that I have on her
until I can get to the Library.
If anyone can tell me what film's etc. that I have to look at to find more
detail I would appreciate it.
Best regards
Jan Goodwin
