Thanks Eric,
I now have a lot more information. I took the plunge and sent an email to a
contact for a family I thought might be related. Just a hunch and I had
nothing to lose. A lady (distant relative) who I did not know existed
replied and sent me 22 pages of family history on James' wife's family and a
contact for someone who is researching the Read connection and has still
more information. Just shows that long shots can pay off sometimes.
