I have, much to my surprise, found a possible death record in the NSW
BDM for April 1788 for Richard Wilcox (no records listed for WILLCOCKS
or WILCOCKS, nor WILLCOX) There is also one for the same name in 1789,
proving that more than one RICHARD WILCOX was in NSW - I wonder why?
anyway I ordered the 1788 cert as the record previously cited says he
died in 1788. The process was straightforward although $25 AU cost.
Will let you know whether this is the right man when I get the cert.
