Heather,
Although the death of John Baker does not appear on the online indexes it
might still be recorded on the fiche. I have found that there are entries
missing from the online index. Maybe someone could look for
you...unfortunately I am not likely to be anywhere to look for you in the
near future.
There is also information on Australian convicts at Kew if you can get
there. You might be able to get a copy of the convict indent from State
Records as well.
