Hello everyone

I am trying to find out what happened to my grandfather x3 James Farmer.
Born 01/03/1812.

He was convicted at Worcester UK 15/10/1844 for steeling a sheep value 6d.
He was sentenced to 10 years transportation.

He was transported on the convict ship Maitland and arrived Williamstown
Victoria Nov. 9 1846.
He was sent to work for James Purves, Richmond Victoria for 12 months then
to Melbourne but then no further trace. I don't know what he was doing or
exactly where he was in that area.

Could anyone help?

Regards

Peter Farmer
