Just a short note to let those on the list that may be interested we
have released our latest publication ...
"Comboyne - chronicles of the early days".

Extracted from Manning, Hastings and Macleay River newspapers this book
features reports of the district and its early settlers, the
difficulties that faced these pioneers, the establishment of farms,
timber industry, roads, schools, churches, halls, butter and cheese
factories, and their day to day life in this isolated yet rich farming
district.

If you are researching families that had connections with the Comboyne
or surrounding districts check out our web site .....

<http://www.ceinternet.com.au/~rgow/>;

and there is a link to an alphabetical list of names mentioned in the
text.

This publication, in A5 format, soft cover, 92 pages, fully indexed.

If you would like us to conduct a “look up” to see if there are any
entries for one or two surnames you are researching, just drop us an
e-mail, and we will be pleased to assist.

Best wishes,

Rod & Wendy Gow
