Seeking advice as to next step, I have looked up my G-Grandfather in the
Mortlock Library Sth Australia fiche and on 51/14 The HYDASPES, left
Plymouth Aug 1851 and reached Port Adelaide in Nov 1851. On one list he
appears, age 23, aglab,English on the other list it advises "at own cost",
it does not list his County of selection, every other person does but not my
Thomas 'bloody' DAVIS.
I have checked the AJCP (Aust. Joint Copying Project) but cannot find any
extra info.
Is there any other places I can look to find out what County he may have
come from.
I know I still have to look in the Adelaide newspapers of that time, but I
have to get to Adelaide.
Any help on the County search would be appreciated.
Regards

Ernie in sunny Sydney.
