Hi Ann
We do research here in South Australia for people requiring information from
the genealogical records here. At the library a few days ago I searched for
your James Kennedy, Patrick Gallaugher and William Cogley.

COGLEY.
No one with the surname Cogley was born or married in South Australia up to
1916.

There is only one Cogley death here:-

Lucy Ann Cogley aged 11 months of Melbourne, Victoria. died 29/6/1901 at Mt.
Gambier daughter of William Cogley Dis. Gre b279 p32

There is no arrival here of anyone with the surname Gallaugher
Nor are there any births or marriages for this surname.

There are several James Kennedy's arrived here:-

Mary Kennedy, domestic servant from Monoghan, 20yrs, Catherine, cook, from
Dublin aged 29yrs, single, James, agricultural labourer from Monaghan aged
19yrs, married and Martha aged 18yrs, wife of James arrived here 12/8/55
having sailed from Liverpool aboard the "Aliquis" arriving at Yankalilla
Bay.

ALSO

James Kennedy aged 20yrs from Londonderry, single, agricultural labourer,
Irish arrived 23/7/50 aboard the "Lysander". The ship's surgeon noted that
James expected to seek employment with the police.

Unfortunately that is all I could find.
