Greetings Helena from Canada,
I noted the you are in Northern Ireland, I am searching for my family Henry
and Elizabeth (Dolan)McHugh from Tyrone Co. they left there in 1837 for
Austrailia then to New Zealand He was b. about 1808 and she about 1816, and
I believe that they were also married in Ireland prior to leaving
(catholic). I have not been able to find anything in Ireland on either of
them, could you give me any suggestions? Where do you think they might leave
from to sail to Aust. in 1837? Sorry I can't help much with your family as
mine left NZ in 1861 to Canada. Any pointers would be most gratefully
received as I am at a huge brickwall right now, Thank you Kathi Hooney
