Carole, I seem to be getting nowhere fast. I do the steps down to and
including 4, but go haywire then.After I have completed step 4 I have
clicked on Import and what I get is my gedcom files list, but the the file I
want is in a Paf file and isn't yet a gedcom file,so it is not listed. I
don't seem to get to the EMPTY file in step 5 you mention.
In step 7 you mention the window asking for the name and location of the
gedco file. I haven't reached this step, but the file isn't a gedcom file so
how could I find it - it is still in My Documents. I'm completely lost
