Hi All



Hope someone can please help me. I am looking for details of my
ggrandfather. I have his marriage and death certificates, but am not able to
date get any further info on him. His details are as follows:



Name Charles MURPHY



Death 1899 at Forster NSW aged 44 years. No details are given of
parents or of how he arrived in Australia. The certificate does say that he
was 24 years in the Colonies NSW.



Marriage 1876 at Manning River (Taree NSW). Again details of parents
are missing and of where in County Cork Ireland he was born.



I have tried the Mariners Records but cannot locate him. I need help in
finding what ship he came to Australia in, and hopefully who his parents
were and where they were from. I know it is a big ask. I am about to pull my
hair out with this bloke!
