A source of published genealogical information in the Northern Territory is the reports of the Aboriginal Land Commissioner published by the Australian Government Publishing Service.

For instance Report Number 50 is titled "The Malngin and Nyinin Claim to Mistake Creek Land Claim No. 133 and was published in 1996. This report contains genealogies of all families involved in the Land Claim and when used in conjunction with other records at the National Archives in Darwin (eg Census records, 1960's) can be used to create genealogies going back to the 1800's.
