Hi,

I've lived downunder all my life - and my ancestors have been in Oz since
the 1850's - I certainly don't hate the expression "down under" - and I
expect that most people I know would have absolutely no concern with the
expression - perhaps those that have contacted you are of a special
sensitive nature??
