The Vic CD's only go up to 1920 for marriages and your Burfords aren't among those listed.

You could try going to www.maxi.com.au and ordering the certificates

the following:

Lindsay Burford to Emma Trescowthick in about 1940
Isabella Evenline Burford around 1918-1920
Dorothy Margaret Burford around 1920
