Hello List Members,

I am new to the list and would like to add my interests.

Researching Henry SILVESTER, arrived at Port Phillip aboard the Mariner July, 1852 (from Birmingham, Warwickshire, UK) with his family as follows:-

Wife Jane WEBB - died 1855
Children:
Frances 9, d.1853
Emily 16 - d. 1855
Caroline Mary 14, m. William WADDELL, D.1948 C/Wood
Charles, 11, m. Sophia ALLEN 1864, lived at Balranald, NSW
Henry, 12, d. Swan Hill, Vic
Helen Gertrude 8, m. William James KENNON 1870
m. Samuel HORE 1875
Ada Elizabeth 6, may have married Thomas TURNER in NSW, 1867
Annie 4, married Harry KIRKWOOD, 1876
Frederick Henry 2, married Frances Sarah SMITH 1875 at Swan Hill, Vic.

Except for those indicated most of the family seems to have resided in the Collingwood, Fitzroy areas, Henry died at Collingwood in 1879, aged 75 - informant was son-in-law Samuel HORE whose address was given as "ROYAL SOVEREIGN HOTEL, SMITH ST. FITZROY".

Information from anyone who has a connection with this family would be sincerely appreciated.
