Dear Karen
I might be wrong, being brought up in UK my Australian history is not too
good, but I thought Caroline Chisolm was around in the time of the early
convict settlements. Didn't she help fight for better conditions for the
women convicts or something?
I'm probably showing my ignorance terribly here, and will watch with
interest for the answer as well
