Hi All.

I have traced one line of my wifes family from the Indexes to Warrnambool and it appears that this is the first place they settled - 1840's to 1860's I think.

My question is - was Warrnambool a major port of the time, or was there some reason my family may have settled there.

As I am still new to the VIC research, how would I find out immigration details of this family?
