Dear Judy, many thanks for your efforts on my behalf regarding
myfamilyHARDING/FLYNN.
I do have a further query as regards date of William HARDING's entry into
Victoria. On his marriage cert. to Mary Agnes Flynn in 1888 he was aged 38,
birthplace Hampshire England and had been a widower since 1886. His father
was also William and mother Sarah Rigdon or Pigdon (I cant make out the
writing)
I came across a shipping record of a William HARDING aged 45 arriving in
1876 on Carlisle Castle
another William HARDING aged 20 arriving on the Durham in 1877
and a Sarah HARDING aged 48 arriving in 1879.
Could this be the same family? Who did William jnr first marry? Was it in
Victoria? Any help at all appreciated. Maybe you can tell a beginner at this
quest where to look. It sure is addictive.
