I am on the track of my elusive gggg grandmother Vezelia HARRIS. She was born in Melbourne in 1848 and this is what I think I have found of her birth record.
HARRIS Basila
father- James
mother- Basila PATTERSON
born Battery St 1848 42045 fishe 575
Roman Catholic St Francis Melbourne.
and a brother
HARRIS Luke
father- James
mother- Vizilea HARRIS
born Melbourne 1853 7476 fishe 133
Roman Catholic St Francis Melbourne.
and possibly a sister
CRAIG Carol
father- James HARRIS
mother- Vizelia KELLY
Died Age 46 Castlemaine 1903 12856
Does anyone know anything about the St. Francis Church and or the HARRIS family? The name of Vizelia/ Vezelea is unusual and used through out the family. If any one has any ideas please contact me.
