I contacted BD&M (Vic) about a month ago to be told they were
snowed under and it was taking them 3 weeks to get to the requests,

....and this is very true.....they are totally snowed under and understaffed!

Perhaps after waiting 5 weeks, give them a "gentle" nudge, querying the length of time it is taking. Maybe this can be another piece of ammunition (for them) to obtain extra staff. :-)

not so many years ago, we were all waiting a couple of months and thought it a bonus to receive them in under 4 weeks!!!
