Good morning Listers,

I am helping a friend from the UK to find details about her Great Aunt,
Edith PRICE (nee GEORGE) born England. My friend can remember family
discussions years ago about a relative who was killed falling under a
tram, somewhere in Australia. So this is what I have found so far.

From the Inquest Index Victoria 1840. Edith A Price, Year of death:
1852 Ref 1046. Cause: Fall from Motor Bus, though family ledged back in
the UK was she feel under a tram? Inquest date 09.07.1952. Death Index
for Victoria:- Edith Adelaide PRICE 57, year 1952. Father: Nathan
GEORGE. Mother: Annie Marie GREEN. Reg # 1952. Place: Hawthorn.

My friend from the UK, was going through her late mother's address book
and found this address, under the name of Edith Price:- Flat 3, 14 Mary
Street Hawthorn. My friend noted that there was no husband mentioned in
the death details I send her above and asked could she have been a Widow
at the time of her death.

So I am trying to find the marriage of Edith Adelaide GEORGE to a
gentleman by the name of PRICE and if there were any children. Hope
someone can assist in solving this mystery of missing Great Aunt Edith,
who was found though an old entry in an address book. Edith PRICE (nee
GEORGE) would have been born circa 1895.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
