Subject: [AUS-MELB] Anderson familes from Broadmeadows

I am seeking information about ANDERSON families who settled in the
Broadmeadows area circ 1850. I believe there were brothers and their
wives and families including William, Peter and Alexander ANDERSON who
were sons of John ANDERSON & Christina GUTHRIE from Inverness in
Scotland and were born in Scotland.

There was also a sister, Elizabeth ANDERSON and her husband John FRASER.
Elizabeth died in 1855 aged 31 years leaving a baby John FRASER and
toddler Christina FRASER, my gg grandmother. I believe the children may
have been taken in by Alexander ANDERSON and his wife, or one of the
other brothers. Alexander ANERSON was the informant on the death
registration of Elizabeth FRASER, and also the birth of John FRASER.
These registrations were done several months after the event. I don't
know what happened to John FRASER senior or junior.
