Could it be the following

John James KING married Elizabeth COOMER 1876 MRC 3747.
John James was born Hull.

Edwin Augustus KING b 1878 (BRC 8217)
Father John James KING, mother Elizabeth FOOT.

Other possibility is they were married interstate.

cannot find a marriage.
