Hi Marina
I had an ancestor pass away at 'Springs' near Keilor. It was the name that
that gave to an area very close to Keilor itself. Also Keilor Plains was
another name for an area near to Keilor.
I have lots of early ancestors from this area. There are a number of books
that have been written about the earlier pioneers of this area - 'Keilor
Pioneers - Dead Men Do Tell Tales' by Angela Evans & Keilor Historical
Society and also 'Pubs, Punts and Pastures' by Joan Carstairs.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
Karen
