It could also be worth your while to check and see if any of the births are
registered with St James Church Melbourne if you are sure some of the
children were born in Melbourne.

Hello everyone, I wonder if there is anyone who would do some look ups for
me in Geelong and Ashfield, both I belive are in Victoria. I am trying to
prove that two Captain Henry Dunsford's are one and trying to find out if
any of the marriage certs from the children of Henry Dunsford would show his
DOB and where he was born. Some married in NZ . And if his children born in
Australia will show his DOB and birthplace.
He has two sets of children and I am trying to establish if he is the same
man. The childrens names born in australia of Mary and Henry are Henry 1845
NSW, Sophia Louisa 1846 NSW and Fanny born at sea 1849. On the IGI Sophia
Louisa was baptised 10 February 1847 at St Philip's, Sydney NSW. I now have
the baptismals lookups for the first two and they only show his name.
2nd lot of children born Aust of Henry and Caroline, Caroline Sarah Litten
dunsford 1855, geelong, Henry Lyttleton 1855 Ashfield, sophia Lucy 1856
Victoria. Ones born NZ to Henry and Caroline, Henry lyttleton 1859,
Frederick Randall 1862, and Edith Ellen mary 1867/9, matron of a hospital in
Nz. Robert Stevenson Dunsford was Henry's brother and JB Were was his
brother in Law.
I thought i was Henry 1845 and Sophia Louisa 1846 who would hold the key,but
unfotunately they didn't, but the others may help but I don't know where
they were baptised. The reason i say that Henry and Sophia Louisa hold the
key is because I know the DOB of the Henry who is the father of the second
lot of children, but not where and when DOB, the Henry from the first lot of
children. I hope you can understand this, its a bit muddled, but at least
its before the 1856 which I understand have been digitised at the libraires.

Can anyone then please look up the baptisimals for me of Caroline 1855,
Henry Lyttleton 1855/6, Sophia Lucy 1856/7. The connection here would be a
ship he was Master of, the Jane Cain if he still was at that time. Many
