Now that brings back a memory that horrified me. Can remember hearing on
the radio "The King is dead Long live the Queen". What a horrible thing to
hear as his daughter. I certainly never forgot it so it would be something
she remembered. Too young to remember anything else about it just those
words so I agree with your daughter and glad it is not our anthem any more.

Now there is a memory. We won gold in games and they flew the English Flag
and played God save the Queen when did it change. Can remember voting for
it.
