Some time ago someone posted a query regarding citizen forces. I have
just been reading a book which would probably be of interest. It is
'For Hearths and Homes. Citizen Soldiering in Australia 1854-1945' by
Craig Wilcox, Allen & Unwin, 1998. ISBN 1 86448 700 3. This is a
volume in the Army Military History Series.
