There is a book called "The Colonial Garrison 1817-1824 The 48th Foot
THe Northamptonshire Regiment in the Colony of NSW" published privately
in Canberra by Clem Sargent. There are several mentions of Stephen
Partridge. The book was published in 1996. You may like to write to the
publishers, TCS Publications PO Box 281 Mawson ACT 2607 Australia. They
may still have copies available.
