Hi Ross

In 1941 the Zealandia was a troopship (HMAT Zealandia). She conveyed
many Australians to Singapore departing Fremantle on 30 May 1941. She
may have been part of the convoy from the East Coast which travelled to
Fremantle escorted by HMAS Sydney, then onto Singapore.

She did take onboard Western Australians at Fremantle including those of
the 2/6th Field Park Coy RAE. I have a photo of her and can send a copy
if you are interested.
