I notice that a number of listers have an interest in William Saltmarsh.
This is all I have but would appreciate confirmation and additional
information and happy to share anything further that I might discover.

Notes for William SALTMARSH
Sentenced at Kingston to 7 years transportation.
Convict of First Fleet, per Alexander. To Norfolk Island aboard the
Surprize on 1 Aug 1790, along with Mary Butler.
Four months before Mary gave birth to their son, William was sentenced
to 100 lashes for theft and was ordered to work in the gaol gang for an
indefinite period. He left Norfolk Island on the Pitt a month later,
on 8 May 1792, for Bengal and never returned.
