Hi Jen- Opened up the mail this morning and your messages almost filled the
screen! Do you get any real work done? Have you read "Rockhampton" by Lorna
McDonald- p/369-70, which discusses the commencement of Meteor Park
orphanage, but short on details.(not indexed under Meteor Downs). Am going
thru my Mackay books but no luck so far. Was Merara under Fthr Bucas? Will
send you extracts of Rockhampton if wanted. I was swamped with queries in
the first few hours for lookups of Miscellaneous Genealogicia and Heraldia
1874, but nothing after the first month. Ian, Port Macquarie.
