Bev, Thanks for all the work you're doing with these old BDMs from papers.
You're doing a great service and I'm sure other genies out there are getting
info.
What strikes me as interesting (?) is that in all the births, the name of
the father is mentioned, and the poor mother who's gone through all kinds of
hell to have the child, is simply "the wife of".
Makes one realise just how tough life was back then for women, just in this
instance of lack of recognition.
