Hi Folks

This is to let you know that I have now sent about 1000 emails to the newspaper extract list -
http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/intl/AUS/AUS-NEWSPAPER-EXTRACTS.html

covering the periods from July 2001 to current. The email covers from 1 notice for the smaller
papers to over 20 notices each for the larger papers.


I have tried not to duplicate the notices what I had already sent to other list, but I may have
doubled up. So you may also have to check the archives for the other lists, including:

AUS-QLD-NUNDAH-DIST
AUS-QLD
AUS-QLD-SUNSHINE-COAST
AUS-QLD-TOOWOOMBA
AUS-QLD-WARWICK

Bundaberg - News Mail
Coffs Harbour - The Advocate
Gladstone - The Observer
Gold Coast/Tweed - Daily News
Grafton - The Daily Examiner
Gympie - Times
Ipswich - The Qld Times
Lismore - Northern Star
Mackay - The Daily Mercury
Rockhampton - The Bulletin
Sunshine - Coast Daily
Toowoomba - The Chronicle
Warwick - Daily News

I have retained copies on my emails and can easily search them, but it is time consuming, and not
all notices have been reproduced from the paper to the web pages.

You are advised that if you cannot locate a possible notice, then you may need to check the papers.

By changing the date on my computer, I have been able to record the event in the month of the
publication - this may further help some researchers, if they know the period but not the date.

I hope these transcriptions are useful in helping you to locate distance relations that you may not
know of.
