Hello Gwen,
Thank you for your two responses. It gives me another area in which to seek
an answer to my question.
I spent many years as a resident of the Wyong, The Entrance and Long Jetty
areas. During this time a part Aboriginal showed my father and myself a
second location where there was an entrance to this lake system. The
location of this entrance was in the vicinity of the par 3 green of the
Toukley Golf Course and The Lakes Surf Club.
In very rough weather and heavy rains this area was often breached again. I
saw this occur during the East Coast floods that were experienced in the
early 1950s.
