I know of the street, my mother lived with the Moreau's for a time when she
was small after the death of her mother. I am sorry I haven't moved on this
sooner seeing as Kathleen has only recently died, would it be possible to
get a copy of the paper? Dog Trap Road was where my grandparents lived
apparently there used to be a row of houses there that were demolished when
the freeway went in. My grandparents were Balthassar and Anna Glockler,
their sons Brian and Martin lived for a time on the Central Coast. Brian
passed away a few years ago and Martin has had a stroke so his memory isn't
too good, my mother Anne died in a car accident 23 years ago. At the death
of their mother Brian and Martin aged approx.4 and 3 yrs were placed in the
Kincumber Orphanage until they were 16 yrs old. My mother for a few years
went to live with the Moreau's she was 18 mths old at the time of her
mothers death, eventually she was put in the girls home on the Central Coast
I have checked and the records I want are not available having disappeared.
My grandfather was a carpenter and a devout Catholic he made the alter in
the Kincumber Orphanage I have a photo, and the seating for all the boys
during the war years. Jeanette
