I can hardly complain about others not introducing
themselves if I dont and it a while since I last
did. SOooooooo :

We have lived at Berkeley Vale since 1987 after
moving up from Sydney and own a real estate
business in Gosford
I got hooked on genealogy early in 1990 while up
on a visit to Rockhampton

We have no family connections in this area at all
. In fact I dont have any in Australia at all in
my own families .

Over time I got interested in the History of the
Central Coast and in convict research in
particular and Australian history in general

Have been a member of the Central Coast Family
History Society since about 1993/4 and its
research officer for a while now . I am on library
duty on the 2nd Saturday of each month and also
do the relief duty where possible.

I run the monthly DPS meetings and help with
Friday trippers . The last Friday trippers was a
car trip to State Records, Kingswood on a
Saturday :-)

Next one is 20 Sep which is a Friday ! out to
Penrith City Library in the morning and the Nepean
FHS are opening their library for us in the
afternoon
Other hobbies are fishing and gardening A
great area for both these hobbies
and not too far from the State Library either
