I live at Goondiwindi on the QLD, NSW border & have done so for the past 40 odd years. Originally from ST George Q a small town 2hours west of Goondiwindi. This is where most of my families lived
Iam Secretary of the Goondiwindi & District Family History Soc as well as the Historical Society.

I have been researching my families for nearly 20 years.
My main families are as per my tag

Acret- Family from Clarence Town (Dr Frederick Acret)
Horton, my maiden name- Convicts on the Third Fleet, settled at Pitt Town, Dubbo area & St George
Crane - My G/mothers family
Zirbel- My husbands family- have research all of them in Australia, only a small family group in QLD
Busiko-my husbands g/mothers family
Fechner, My/ G/fathers family - having a reunion for them on 1st Sep for 125 yrs of their arrival on the Charles Dickens to QLD
Dahms-my/ G/mother family
Tebb my mothers maiden name
Kitson my husbands mothers name

My main research is German families and my research is mainly QLD & NSW.
I have a extensive library and only to happy to help any one with research in this area
